89 5.0 Convertible Top Install Problem With 3rd Bow?

so i bought this 89 converttible 5.0 and the top was all ragged out and the front bow was broken so i took off the top and repaced only the front bow the rest of the the frame was left untouched. so now im replacing the vinyl and everything seem cut and dry until i got to looking at the 3rd bow. the 3rd bow when sitting staight up is a couple of inches higher than the first and second bow's but if its left down facing backwards then how would i put the new under pad on? any suggestions
