89 GT 5.0 5 spd
Just installed Trick Flow heads and cam. BBK SSI intake, fuel regulator,cold air intake,
Pro-M Racing MAF, Ford Racing 24lb fuel injectors, yes ordered MAF to match. Just got her
together, she fired right up for timing, but wouldnt idle, started her 2-3 times, kept
her going with the pedal, wouldnt idle,timed at 10 TDC or whatever factory is.
Vacuum is fine. The thing is she started right up but then after a couple times wont
start at all. Also the BBkSSI fuel crossover tube is leaking. So gotta tear that appart
and change to try and fix the leak. But the question is why wont she start again? I heard
that a Idle Air Control spacer will help it idle but also read that a ford mechanic told
someone they are a gimmic and dont do anything. Since she started and ran, timing should
be within limits but it just wont fire up again. She could just be flooded. Gotta fix the fuel leak first too though.
I did a lot of mods for sure so could be a tough trouble shoot. Any ideas?
