I am trying to get my 89 lx 5.0 to start. Put in a motor that was running. Im getting fire at the plugs, and fuel to the rails. Im sure the injectors are spraying due to wet plugs. Can i say the computer is working due to the plugs firing? And can i rule out the clutch safety switch due to the motor turning over? The motor turns over forever but never hits. The dizzy was out and i put it back in at TDC on the comp. stroke w/ rotor pointing to #1. This isnt the first time ive put a dizzy in either so im stumped. It seems like a timimg issue but not sure what gives. I ran codes and it threw a 67 and an 85. Not worried about the 85 (purge canister), but the 67 is either neutral switch or a/c prob. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
