Also, what size tire are you running? That Calypso LX up top looks like it has a much wider tire than you. Perhaps that plays into the illusion that the wheels sit more flush to the lip?

that last pic makes it seem worse then it is but they are indeed reps and it's not that bad in person I just think they would be a bit better if they sat like the calypso car . I am 245 all around he looks to be 255 265

Do you ever intend on a wider tire? Possible that could be a solution

I'm thinking that may be the right route think I can get away with a 265 on a 8.5 wheel ?

I have run a 275 on an 8" wheel with no trouble. You will be fine

usually the general (unofficial) rule is 2" of tire wider than the rim

265 would put you around 10.4".

So that's pretty good.
