93 model to 95 model

how come the superchargers are way cheaper for the 93 stangs than our 95 stang? i thought the engines were basically identical

I think it is the way they are stuffed into the engine bay. We have a different manifold setup with the elbow on the upper. I understand that the engineers had to make some new brackets for out cramped engine bay. If anyone has used a pre sn95 setup and made it work, let us know.

its because of the different intake and the accesores are run different the blower unit itself would work but you would need all the brackets and stuff

Plus they probably sell more for the earlier years.

its probably a combination of things...the kit had to be redesigned to fit with our style manifolds, and fit in our engine bays AND they probably dont sell nearly as many kits for the 94-95 cars as they do for the Fox cars...so, companys had to spend more money to develop the kit, and get less return on it....hense higher prices to make a profit...
