I have a 94 Mustang GT in which the battery cable came loose on the alternator and blew it. After replacing the alternator and starting the car I noticed several things weren't working: door lock switch, hood light, truck light, dome light, radio and the speedometer. I also heard what sounds like the fuel relay or pump making a buzzing sound from the rear of the car.

I checked the fuses and saw the #10 10 Amp fuse under the dash had been blown, but after replacing and starting the car up the fuse instantly blows again. I figure I have an electrical short somewhere along that line. Does anyone have an advice or suggestions on what it might be or where I should start troubleshooting? Any help would the much appreciated. Thank you.

Also another side not. When you hit the power door unlock on the drivers side it makes the parking lights flash on. And the passenger door has started to randomly lock itself.

sounds to me like there is a short in the "constant power" lead somewhere. By that I mean, most of the systems that are affected are items that are always getting power, even with the key off.

Another thing might be a fusible link somewhere (not sure if these cars have em), but if there is one that blew, the power could be trying to get where it needs to go via that 10 amp fused circuit you are talking about. And since that circuit can't hold the load that's being placed on it, it blows immediately.
