Interior and Upholstery 94 GT Mystery Cable Under Passenger Dash

Hello,

As I was doing a little spring cleaning, I noticed this cable hanging out near the ECU area under the passenger side dash. I pulled the shroud off and see that this cable is actually coming from the rear of the car. Does anyone know what this cable might be for? Thanks!

Looks like the remnants of a CD changer. All the rage in the late 90's / early 00's.

Thanks! Definitely makes sense since the stereo has been changed out by a previous owner.
