94 gt with no rear suspension?

My brother has a 94 gt that hits hard when driven over bumps, he changed the shocks, but it is still there, Has anyone had this problem or knows what the problem is?

check the bushings on the LCA's they might be blown out also

Is it lowered? Does it have stock cut springs?

Sounds like stock suspension to me?
