So i have this mustang now after i total my fox body and i like the 3.8l but im not liking the hesitation im getting. The car is equipped with some headers, and some flowmaster exhaust. Um the cars got 160,000 miles just changed all fluids and today dumped seafoam in the tank hoping it was a gummed out fuel injector. The car is a automatic 4 speed, and its just sluggish for the setup under the hood. its got a stacker cold air intake which i washed out today as well... umm i can try and and give more info if you ask some question but so far the acceleration is terribad, i get a terribad hesitation when hitting the gas and o yea the car has not been chipped. alright ima go just wondering if anyone had some ideas and what could be done.
