I was walking through my local junkyard and found a 94 GT. It has the 8.8 rear with disc brakes. I was wondering exactly what parts I needed to get off the 94 to put this rear in my 86. Obviously the rearend but what about the e-brake cables. My 86 had the 7.5 in it with the drums so do I need all the brake lines associated with the 8.8. I just want to make sure I get everything I need in one trip. I don't have time for multiple trips to get this right. The car also has Eibach springs in it and the owner of the junkyard said he would let me have the springs if I bought the rear so that's something I could sell for a little cash back. Also thinking about picking up the front suspension to complete the 5 lug conversion.

Go to www.sn95brakes.com and look in the 79-93 5 lug section. Matt has a parts list for the stuff you need at the bottom of the page. Look at the front and rear lists , and get the MC and booster also if they are good. You can use the 94 ebrake cables, but you also need the center bracket in the tranny tunnel that pre 93 cars do not have.
