My release bearing is riding on my pressure plate when foot is off the clutch. Can this be adjusted out? How? Also how can I tell what rear end gear is in this car? I just bought it last week.
The stock clutch quadrant is self-adjusting ratchet setup. You can manually adjust it by pulling the pedal all the way up and then pressing it down to the floor acouple times. That will take the slack out of the cable.
To determine your axle ratio, jack the back of the car up and put it in neutral.
Mark the driveshaft and hear tires and then spin the rear tires
Count the number of revolutions the driveshaft turns with one complete rotation of the tires.
The number of revs the DS makes is your axle ratio
