find an shop that does installs new tops & have them install a new window?
the window is mated to the fabric around it from the factory, if it's seperating there, you'll need a new window installed to correctly fix it, other wise no matter what you do, it will always look nasty & leak water as well.

Rear windo

Hmmmm, thought that would be the answer. I can go to a local pull and save and get a great looking black top with a good window for about $150.00, I also do all my own work. I was hopeing for an answer that would lead me in the direction of repair other then going to a shop. My bad for not explaining what I can do.

Do you have a pneumatic staple gun? One is needed to install a new top.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

More power to him, carpel tunnel is in his future...

I got a small pneumatic for about $25... you just need to be able to shoot 1/4-1/2'' t50's

If you need a cheap fix ive heard of people with vettes using 3m Urethane to hold their windows back in place. then using 2 big suction cups strung up to garage rafters to hold the window in place while the urethane sets.

Neat Idea with the suction cups. At $25, the pneumatic one is not much more than the Sure Shot.
