...a heated seat?? Is there a switch/fuse for this?

I have leather+powered seats but I don't think they're heated and haven't found a switch.

Thanks,

The left-most indicator on the right bank of indicator lights (two indicators to the left of the brake light) is supposed to be your low coolant light.

I've only seen that brought up in a couple of threads on other boards. From what I've read it is an emissions warning light. Most likely it's your O2 sensor, but pull codes to verify.

Hey thanks everyone for your replies -- I'll look into your suggestions...

[So instead of looking in my OM, I gooooogled and read pages of results, then found 4 mustang forums, registered so I can use the search function not finding an answer, then took a picture and uploaded it, then made this post anxiously waiting for replies... -- I don't have an OM nor did the previous owner]

The CEL is on the left bank of indicators (second from the left in the left bank).

If your other indicators are different than normal, put up a picture of them (taken during the prove-out).

HISSIN50 you are spot on!! I do have CEL on left bank and it was low coolant in the recovery tank. Luckily for me it was the simplest possibility. Thank you all for your help on this one.

I was sidetracked thinking about heated seats coming on at some temp or looking for a switch somewhere -- but now I would conclude it's always going to be cold leather in the winter.

It does look like the cat is on fire!

That light makes no sense then.

Good thing Ford changed it in the 96+ cars.

But then they changed it in '03 to a stupid "check gas cap" light since that's MUCH more important than "low coolant"

Mate did you ever find out what this light was for. Have the same on our 1995 and nobody knows what it does.

It appears to be the 'low coolant' indicator light from what I've read in this thread, it is 10 years old by the way, curious is your car overseas?
I see your from Australia.

Eventually found out on export models this light indicated the cats are burnt out, (over heated) and need replacing. usually caused by the air pump failing.

It’s an old thread, and I’m still having trouble seeing the resemblance to a cat on fire.
