I just installed a UD pulley on my 2001 V6, and I am more than impressed! I didn't note what my RPM's were doing at certain speeds before the install, but now I notice now that my idle is at a solid 500rpm ( no sputtering), and in 5th gear at 71mph I am at a steady 2K rpm.
Please could someone, with a 5-speed jump on the freeway and see what rpm's you have. I am mad at myself that I didn't think to write my data down before. Just curious, please help!
I notice a smoother acceleration and lower rpm in gereral.

would you actually have to change the belt size from anything that what was on it before? The UDPs are just slightly different in size to help take alot of the load off the engine... but i think that the tensioner would help that... i may have totally missed on that but i tried
@ sushee the UDPs wouldnt really do anything to cruising rpms... i guess it could smooth out idle rpms but when you're cruising the rpms are really just going to be whatever gear you're in and considering whatever rear-end gearing you have... to be honest i havent used them and im actually looking into them over the next few weeks and am trying to educate myself as well
