I modified the stamped brackets on the stock SN-95 caliper brake hoses where they could be bolted onto the axle tubes on an 8- or 9-inch rear end with a muffler clamp. With this arrangement, the hoses can be positioned fore or aft on the axle tube to move the brake hose out of the bump stop's path.

I made the hard line in between the two flexible caliper hoses from a straight stick of 3/6" brake line tubing. The tubing started out as a 60" long stick.

The original muffler clamp I used was just a standard one. I later revised this with a 360-degree heavy-duty style muffler clamp.

'65/'66 Mustang 8- or 9-inch rear ends require 2¼" clamps. '67-'73 Mustangs require 2-7/8". '57-'59 Ford big car 9-inch rears will require 3" muffler clamps. --with the 3" axle tubes, you would have to take a 3/8" flat washer, grind one side flat, and weld it to the bottom of the bracket as the lower mounting point for the muffler clamp's U-bolt to got through.

Several "professional" aftermarket brake companies offer SN-95 rear disc conversion brackets, but NONE of them offer any solutions for mounting the stock hoses, none have any provisions for spalsh shields, and none offer any solutions for retaining the Anti-moan caliper support brackets, but Ultrastang Performance figured it out.

Works quite nicely.
