sorry about the confusion, I should have been more clear. I'm going to try to put a 95 motor into a 92 LX V-8 car with a 5-speed. Will I have to change everything on the front of the motor? I wonder if it will be more trouble than what it's worth. Thanks.
The input shaft on the fox body t-5's is actually not the same length as the SN-95 t-5's. I believe that the fox is longer and the SN is shorter, but it could very well be the other way around.
You need to check the heads. I think it could have the E6's instead. Might also have a different cam in it. If you just want to plug and play, you can swap over but just use all of your front accs. and intake. Oil pan could be different on the T-bird motor, don't remember.
If it's a 92 Mustang engine, it'll drop right in with no problem. Same heads, same lower intake, same cam, forged pistons instead of the hypereutectic pistons in the 94-95. If you're using the 92 T5, you'll need to run the Fox bellhousing and clutch fork, since the 94-95 had a 5/8" longer input shaft. You can probably use the stock transmission crossmember, but you may need to elongate the holes slightly for the mount to line up. You may also want to pick up a driveshaft spacer (I believe Steeda sells one) because without it, your stock driveshaft may not be long enough for the slip yoke to fully engage the output shaft.
