I got 4 cats on the car and I was wondering if I can throw away the first 2 cats and leave the 2 by the o2 sensors alone and it'll make the car a bit louder and not throw any engine codes?

I'm having the second set removed in mine now. I had the second set removed on my 96 towncar and have had no problems. Not sure about the first set though

i want to keep the o2 sensors on, without engine light. But I want my front two taken off so I can get it a bit louder, so if I take the elbow cats off will I have an engine code?

So there's nothing in between the cats. And that elbow cat looks mean and a lot more bigger then the normal cats.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?
