96 Cobra

Hi, I am in position to buy a seemingly stock 96 cobra with 200,000 miles and some fairly minor issues besides the miles. But it's only $1000 and runs strong. Just curious on some feedback if I should just run it till it gives up or put some money into it. I'm on a little bit of a budget but I couldn't pass on my first cobra that I can drive right away for 1000 bucks. Thanks!

How does the engine sound? Any strange ticks or noises? Also check the exhaust pipes for any black residue. Oil burning will get old if it is a daily driver fro you.

Engine sounds good, no funky ticks or noises. Runs really strong too, I'll check the exhaust tomorrow.

How did it go? I've been wanting to get into an SN95 lately, and I'd LOVE to score a 1996 Cobra at a price like that, even it's just a roller.
