96 gt convertible side exit

I have a 96 gt convertible and have the side skirts for a side exit but cannot get information on a good set of exhausts. I am on 18's so i don't think scraping will be a problem but am concerned whether the side exhaust will work being that it is a convertible. any help will be greatful.

Spintech, CDC, and used roush kits will work. I dont think convert's will have a different frame design that will be in the way to my knowlege

Side exhaust should work with your Convertible unless you have subframe connectors, they will most likely get in the way. Think Dynomax makes mufflers for side exhaust, the Roush kit requires the inlet and outlet on the muffler to be on the same side.

Just about everybody makes a single in/single out, same end muffler. If you want the best sound Spintech 333 SCS's are the ticket.

You can do side exhaust a number of ways with subframes - roush has SFC's for side exhaust, or you can fab your own...

Or you can do like Kenny Brown and run an oval pipe just after the sub-frame connector:
