I wanted to get some of my baselines laid out see if I’m missing anything and to ask some questions.

I bought a 96 gt sitting a few years manifold bolt broke off in head. Got it all back together besides putting the alternator and air cleaner on. Car won’t crank starter dosnt even click.
I know check voltage at starter I ohmed the relay out.

But the car has a ford dealer installed security system with alarm that is pretty damn annoying my question is will this dealer installed alarm interfere with the starter circuit?

Car 96 mustang gt 4.6l auto

Thanks

Yes. An after market alarm system can disable the starter circuit. As well as some of the older "active" anti-theft systems in use during the 1996 model year.

Just wondering. What happens IF the starter solenoid is jumped?

Jumping the solenoid the starter spins but the bendix does not kick out even with the battery charger on high. I took the anti theft out and disabled the starter disable on it but it still didn’t work. The anti theft light isn’t flashing so I know the key is recognized by the car. I litteraly have no time to work on this thing I work second shift so my dad has been messing with it he said if he jumps the solenoid the starter works but dosnt engage.

Assuming that you are jumping the solenoid ahead of the bendix, IF jumping the starter solenoid and the bendix does not extend then you have a starter "issue". This may be in addition the other problems that you have.

If $$ are tight here's a link to a site that offers rebuild "kits". Check out the how to video as it show step by step using only commonly available hand tools. I have used their kits to to rebuild two alternators.

Money isn’t tight just trying to chase the problem down I wanna drive this car lol. But I really appreciate it the link. I hope the starter is the issue that it fixes the problem.
