I thought 96-98 Cobras were good for high 13's in the 1/4?

Sorry dude, you won't beat him with a high 15's 1/4 mi time.

my buddy had a 97 cobra when I got my 1998 gt and I used to always be in awe on the 2-3 car lenghts he would have by 50 mph(both cars with only flowmaster exhaust). By the way we drove em right . The cobra would see consistant 13.99 passes and I was seeing consisitant 15.0's at pomona or r.i.p. carlsbad raceway)

13.99?? i guess the guy i raced a couple of weeks ago couldnt drive at all, 98 cobra lt headers and a couple of other things and i embarassed him, didnt even wanna talk afterwards

The only way you are going to beat a 97 Cobra is if you jack up the radiator cap on that 98 turd, ahem, GT and drive an 03 Cobra under it! My GT is also stock so I feel for you man.
