Well I am installing a BBK offroad Hpipe w/out cats this evening and was wondering what I should do or look for. Anything to be on the lookout for? I am going to spray down the flange bolts etc. with some lube etc. It looks fairly uncomplicated but I hear that their is one bolt that may be a problem. I did purchase the steeda MIL eliminators also and wondering where exactly do they go? Thanks in advance!! Frank

Just get under the car and start working, but make sure you have a lot of swivels and extensions handy. I swapped mine out some time ago and added MIL elimintors without any directions. Piece of cake. I'd suggest you wear eye protection though to keep rust flakes from landing in you face.

OK got it installed minus a little welding on the h-pipe this evening just wondering if it is normal for it to pop and cackle like crazy coming down on the rpm's? Or does this mean I have a leak somewhere?Thanks, Frank

I just had my mac off road h-pipe put on my 03 cobra a week ago. It is super loud, but mine does not pop. On my previous stang, I had a prochamber and it popped alot, come to find out, there was an exhaust leak. Actually I broke the mac paper gasket.I had it fixed and it never popped or cracked. I think you have a leak. Peace!

The MIL elims go between the rear O2's and the wiring harness...if it's the plug in kind, just plug one end into the O2 plug and the other into the harness plug...

h pipe shouldnt pop and crackle. might have a leak somewhere. did you replace the gasket between the passenger sider header and h pipe. might want to check that for leaks.
