Headswap happening as i type this. I had Windsor PI heads before but they cracked, now i got the Romeo heads, the mechanic said i need the sprockets. I got the heads from MMR Stage 2 Port and Polish and Comp Cams 262ah. He said the Windsor are press on sprockets and they wont work on these heads. Whatelse would i need? He said something about spacers, bolts and sprockets? anything else? OH also he said the valve covers wont work, where can i get Romeo valve covers?

Thanks everyone

These are all parts that came on ford cars/trucks at some point. It shouldn't be difficult to locate them from a j-yard, companies who sell used parts online, ebay, craigs list or where ever. I know at least the cam bolts are still available brand new from ford, and I bet there are many aftermarket valve cover options to clean up looks if that's what you desire too. Instead of asking here, start shopping and see what you can find.

I'm in the middle of my Romeo PI swap as we speak. I actually pulled the motor out to put all new gaskets in it etc., but you will need to get the cam gears, spacers, bolts and washers that fit the romeo heads. I ordered all this stuff from the local dealership and picked it up today. The total I paid was $102.00 for everything. I bought the heads new, but did not ask if they already came with gears etc. until I got them on the block and realized they were missing. I called a lot of parts stores and used mustang parts places here in GA, and believe it or not, the dealership was cheaper than everywhere else. Just my .02.
