I have a problem , I have 500 bucks at most to spend on an exhaust system and I dont know what to get I want the biggest power gain I can get and the loudest for 500 bucks exluding shipping from www.lmperformance.com because im also buying a clutch and it will be discount on shippping thanks

I have a stock 98 gt the exhaust on it is stock

I dont care if its a system or H pipe or anthing I just want it loud

got an ideas thanks in advance

For that price you can get a nice catback and maybe an offroad x or h pipe.

You first have to decide on what type of sound you want and whether you want it to be emissions legal or run catless. Go to www.mustangexhaust.com and figure out what type of sound you want

I have a laptop and I tried to listen to the clips but the speakers are not good and very quiet. I want the loud muscle car sound can someone suggest a good one?

If you want a loud muscle car sound, i personally would say these setups would work...

H-pipe and Flowmaster catback
H-Pipe and Mac Catback
Mac Prochamber and Flowmaster Catback
Mac Prochamber and Mac Catback

Hope that helps

BTW, if you are trying to completely minimize the cost of your exhaust setup, just get some Flowmaster or Mac mufflers and have them welded in instead of getting the whole catback

I have a magnaflow catback I just pulled off of my 98 gt that I will sell to you for $250. Its basically brand new.This catback and the x pipe I had on my car screamed!PM me if your interested in the catback

I have a MagnaPack catback on my '98 GT. Ran me about $300 or so. It's not real loud but sounds great and much better than stock. If you really want it nice, include an "H-pipe". Flows may be a bit much and there is drone with them.

Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back & UPR O/R X-pipe is AWSOME!!!

sounds so mean without it being anoying

Both of those together is a little more than 500 bucks....GREAT DEAL!!!!

i got the x pipe off my 98 for sale. its the SS version so youll have your whole set-up. im asking $115 plus shipping

u prolly should get Pack and some O/R X.
Difference between one makes most gain to least gain is prolly 1hp or 2hp at most
Go with what sound best for you, as one makes 1hp less but sound pure sex is WAY better then one makes 1hp more and sound like an ass

HoustonGT I watched that vid and its great souding but I only have 500 bucks to spend so I am thinking about getting the Bassani BX Cat-Back now and an x pipe later.

Im a little confused is this the right one for a 98 gt the description says 1999-.... an the title says 98 gt so..

A bigt drunk but go to Ebay and search fro LFP(Lightning Force Perfromence) .. I got it from them for 450 shipped. That place i sover 500 bucks
