I know they bolt up but will convertible seats from a 99-04 bolt up to a 92 hatchback?

What about the power seat connections? Can't use those anymore?

You can make them work. It's just a positive and negative wire.

there are 3 connectors on the new seat and 2 on the connector in your car coming out of the carpet for the old seat. jumper the 2 + leads for the seat and the lumbar together from the new seat with some female connectors and wire and connect to the + pos lead and the - lead from the new seat to the - lead on the existing connector. Just use a test light to find the + lead on each connector.
