Who has pics of their sub box's installed in the trunk?
I am wanting one that will hold 2 10's, but I can still use my spare tire.
I was either going to build one or have a custom one built for me. I was wanting one to go from the front trunk seal (right behind the rear window) to the rear seats and have the 2 subs (maybe 10's) facing foward. That way you couldn't see the subs from the trunk, and I could hide them from inside by having the seats folded up. Hopefully I could split that piece on the floor of the trunk right at the speaker box so I could still get my spare tire out. I don't really need the ultimate thump. And I probably wont get the best sound anyway due to the airspace required for the speakers in that box.(the box will probably be to small) It also has to be easily removed. What do you think?

I would like to run 2 audiobahn 10's and a audiobahn 2ch 1000w amp.
I want to wire it into my factory Mach 460 with 6-disc changer.

i'm about to do the same with two 10's from audiobahn. my person that builds boxes doesn't think there is enough room to build the box in the back of the trunk how you explain and leave enough room to remove the spare tire. i'm going to have my boxes built in the places where the mach 1000 subs go.. on each side in custom fiberglass boxes. as for connecting to the stock mach 460. its not going to sound as good because you dont have an output on the deck for the amp and you have to splice into the speaker wires but if your going to do it..Mustang World .. has the info you need.

my friend has a box for 2 rockford 10s that he found on ebay in his 94 with mach 460. i dont have pics at the moment as he is out of town, amp is mounted to rear seat and the box wedges itself between the mach box and trunk bottom, you have to remove the box to get to the spare tire, but its easy to remove. it sounds real good, i only way to be able to access your spare without removing your spare is to get something like this http://jlaudio.com/stealthbox/mustang_coupe.html mtx also make one with out a sub in it allready.

thanks guys for all the info. I'm gonna do some measuring and try to find a way to do it. I'm not looking for the ultimate thump. I just want a little bit more.
