A Big Thank You to Everyone

I have a buddy with a Vortech blower, and gears are nowhere needed for him. There is barely a 1st gear or 2nd gear. This is on drag suspension, and Hoosier ProStreets. He just had it dyno'ed (not 100% tune) and put 413rwhp. Its now under construction right now, and in the process of doing the E85 set up. We were going to do a side mount or front mount, but we will be better off with E85 & methanol injection.

Me personally, if your going boost at all, stay with stock gears. If you just want to have fun on the N/A set up, 3.73's would be perfect.
 
That's way more power than I want to make Husker. I'm shooting for around 350. One more thing, y'all go to bed! At a decent hour. That's why you prefer cobra wheels. Sleep deprivation.

Revist of this old thread since it is sort of like a build thread. I had issues with oil consumption after the build. Deciding it was the Chinobra intake I removed it and put the stocker back on. The oil consumption issue not only didnt go away, it actually got worse. After some talking and figuring and me almost selling the car, we decided it might be the valve seals in the heads. Though, these heads (GT40Ps) had been to a machine shop, they had sat around for a year and a half before being put on. Finally figured out the oil consumption was from the valve seals. $30 worth of parts and 8 hours to install them. Here's my craigslist ad, thought yall might get a kick out of it...
