I like FENUT and his car so I will not do that to him. Now... you, Bill, Jeff H and Chung that's a different story.

Cory tricked me! He didn't have any cookies in his hands.

I was sitting immedeatly to the left of this pic with Jon right next to me filming and I don't know how in hell he sat there with that thing at 6,500rpms with no earplugs in.

I guess I am just a light weight.

6500? What did you think of the 9200 rpm pull? Thats where the 200+mph (and hence the expanding tires rubbing on the body) came from

Oppssssss I meant to hit the 9 not the 6...lol

There really is not much like the sound of a properly built V8 spinning up that high. I love going to the Lucas Oil Series races and sitting out in the middle of the burn out box while the Comp Eliminator run. (being a Woodburn employee sure has it's benefits)

De-stroked 400's, HUGE cams, HUGE compression. They launch at 9,500, shift at 10k with fuel cut at 10.5.

The engine dyno said 860...through an auto, sounds about right to me.
Just wait till the shot(s)...the number will be a little higher

A 33% loss through the drivetrain doesn't sound right to me.

I was with Ray tonight, sounded like the pulls hovered in the 580 range, not 6s.

So the car was on the dyno making high 500's then all motor? Is the car going to be shifting at 9,500 on the track or was that just for the dyno day?

The previous owner shifted this combo at 83-8500 rpm,
I asked him what it would rev to and he said it would go to the moon, so I'm thinkin the moon must be around 10,000, since my tach showed 9500

Nice...I want a ride as this is something that has to be experienced to get the full feeling of it.

I did not hear what kind of power you were making at 9,500, and was it still making power or was it starting to drop off?

It might have made more if we had been using Sticks & Stones to tune it!

I did'nt see the graph, I'm shure the power was dropping off like crazy.
Engine dyno results;
6500 rpm= 802 hp.
7000 rpm= 843 hp.
7500 rpm= 859 hp.
8000 rpm= 842.5 hp.
