My 92 5.0 lx was only blowing out of the defroster vent. Through this site, I was able to find out that I probably had some sort of vacuum leak, which was causing the blower to default to the defroster position. I then found two tubes that were wire tied together next to the air filter, and then I found that the condensor was gone.
I purchased a new condensor, and it's on its way. Once I hook that up, reconnect the lines, install an accumulator (which is also missing), then I take it to someone who knows what they're doing to test it and recharge it, right?
Do I need to convert the refrigerant at this time, as well?
