I have a built 306 w/a trickflow top end kit and 10lbs of boost from a Vortech V-2 SQ. Looking to ditch my A/C system all together. I do already have a UPR smog elim kit. The questions i have are: do all the kits relocate the P/S pump to the A/C compressors original position, or are some different? Which kit have you guys had the best luck with (i.e. ease of installation, fitment, etc) and why? My whole dilema is i'd rather move the P/S pump up to the compressors position rather than just have an idler pulley where the compressor used to be, and my common sense says to go with UPR kit to match my smog kit but i'm not sure if it would accomplish my goal. Also, the shop where i had most of the work done took care of the smog elim kit so unfortunately i'm not sure what length pulley i currently have. Any help you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.
