a/c issues

ok, its starting to get hot down here in the south, and i think there is something wrong with my a/c. Even all the way over on max a/c with the fan on full speed the air is not as cold as it should be, and there just isint a whole lot of air pressure behind it. now, my belt makes some squeaking when i turn on the a/c, could this be related to it? any ideas?

Mine does this every two years......and I mean every two years precisely!

I had the local Goodyear shop look at it, because in my area they will diagnose the problem for cheap. Turns out my problem is a sensor of some kind that fails. Once replaced, it works fine without the need for freon (sp?) or anything else. Some years they want to do a full test for leaks, but I won't let them.

I'll look up the name of that sensor and post it here tonight if I can find it. It has been replaced like 4 or 5 times.

You might have another issue if the air isn't coming out at full force. Mine always did, but it wasn't cold at all.
