I found this on youtube. Some guy in Mexico city did this restoratioon and obviously some modding.

IDk about the strobes but the extra pair of headlights looks pretty cool, IMO.

Trying to ID the valve covers to see if it was a Windsor or..... .
Not too crazy about the strobing park-turn lights or the wire basket rims. It sure sounded like the A/C compressor clutch was rattling; but I couldn't realy see any vibration in the center hub. And I'm afraid to ask what tune the horns play.......


But the total package looked pretty doggone good! Especially since the guy is probably about half-batty from listening to all that feathered background noise.

Believe I'd import a couple of bobcats (maybe some severely underfed Laboradors?) to quiet things down around there. But that's just me, YMMV.

That's the power steering pump's internal vanes making the rattle noise. Mine does that when it's hot.

Wow, I hadn't heard that one before..... The pumps in my old Torino and also in the present Cougar had the very common "air growl" that would get loud now and then; but never that kind of rattle. Sounds like a bearing going waaaaaayyyy south and the impeller is beating the housing.

I've heard the A/C make that kind of noise; usually broken "clutch return springs" letting the clutch plates ease out and contact the inner surface of the pully. My Torino's compressor clutch started doing that about a year after I got her; and it did it 'til....... beats me, still did that when I let her go! The compressor clutch on my '72 F100 only did it for two weeks before failing completely; I took the belt off because it kept flying off and getting tangled in the fan. Took me a few weeks to replace the clutch - naturally, it's was in July.
