I have an autometer A/F gauge and I hooked it up to one of the wires that goes to the computer for A/F... My only problem is that it is bouncing back and forth because it's only reading from one O2 sensor. Do I need to install another O2 sensor [and how would I go about doing this] into my exhaust? Where would I put it also to get a proper reading? Or can I just wire it a different way?

Thanks.

To get a proper reading you would have to buy a wideband O2 sensor, weld an O2 sensor bung onto the exhaust and install the wideband.

It bounces back and forth because that is what the stock narrow band 02 sensors do. They bounce back and forth to keep the air fuel mixture close to correct. A wideband is the only way to be sure.

Ya coming out of a turbo car I can tell u first hand with plenty of tuning experance. Dont worry about the narrow band it really is useless . An egt guage is better then a narrow band. Get a wideband worth ever penny.
