A Funny Thing Happened Today

I was driving home from work today and I end up behind a school bus that was hauling 13-15 year old kids and there are these two boys in the back that I notice are admiring my car.They smile and wave and seem like they are really getting a kick out of the car.Then it starts to get really uncomfortable,I mean they just would not quit.We stopped at a light and they were still waving so I figured what the heck and waved back thinking they would give up and turn around--nope! They were just having a grand ole' time.So this continues for about three miles until I finally turn off.I tried so hard not to bust out laughing but it was just too funny.I mean what are you supposed to do in that situation? Kids! LOL

The may have been admiring more than just the car ....... j/k....

I have found that teenagers notice performance cars REALLY quick.

True-True... They may have been admiring the driver and the car, Jenn.

I know that every morning when I pass the 2 bus stops for the high school kids there are a few guys that just stare relentlessly. Makes me almost feel 'odd'.

At least your boys behaved and didn't do anything inappropriate.

Kids huh
I have been loving every minute of driving around in my 05 Musfang cause everybody looks and not just the boys want to ride.

When I first got the car it really felt like everyone was looking at my car. IN fact ALOT of people were. I still get a lot of looks. Usually when they see me in the driver's seat they get pissed off and they give me dirty looks and what not. Must be because I'm 17 with a GT.

Funny story that I thought would share and it's actually on topic... Stoppped at a light the other day when a German guy on a bike is crossing the intersection, he's looking at the car, looking at the car, then BAM, smack into the light pole. He didn't fall, but it sure sounded like it hurt a lot. 05 stangs are pretty rare over here, so I get stared at a lot.

I wouldnt drive next too a school bus full of kids, ive seen bolts and rocks come out of those things

Lol..I was at a gas station recently and a lady in an Explorer was staring at my ride as she was pulling up to the pumps, and WHAM, hit one of those concrete posts by the pump. She quickly backed up and went to a pump at the other end of the parking lot.

Usually I try to avoid any vehicles that look hazerdous to my car but I was on a two lane road and there was really no where to turn off so I didnt have a choice.


The funny thing about the kids possibly noticing me instead of the car is that eventhough I am 26 a lot of people tell me that I look about 16.Maybe they thought they could score a date! LOL

Well, a hot car will attract looks, a hot car with a beautiful will sometimes cause accidents. A friend of mine did that and ran his maxima into the back of a cement truck...LOL.

Seriously, even if we are not beautiful women, our cars attract a lot of looks. I'm still getting the looks and once every two weeks someone will walk up to me at a gas station. This past saturday a dude with a 94 cobra came up to admire my car. I couldn't resist admiring his, he performed every possible mod I can think of. It had to be the loudest mustang I have ever heard.

Let's enjoy it while it lasts!

The thing is, after getting the car I actually no longer feel the need to speed alot. The only speeding ticket I ever got, that I got removed from my record was in my old car a Grand Prix SE with the 3.1L V6! If I drove to fast, no one would be able to see it anyways

when we rode the bus when i was 13 we used to moon and squirrel people
