I have a slit miss at idle and i dont know much about these motors,do think i need to buy plugs if so whats the best kind for a 4.6? Could it be a coil pack.The runs really good for no more than it has done to it ,could it have something to do with my MIL eliminators?
MIL's wouldn't cause a miss. Lots of other things could cause your issues. If you haven't changed plugs in a while it would be a good start. Go with the Motorcraft copper plugs. They are what most everyone will recommend. A bad coil pack would give you issues throughout the RPM range...not just idle. I'd look at a plug, wire, or moisture issue first.
i would change the plugs and use factory motorcrafts, just ask your auto part store guy for o.e. than make sure you get them torqued properly, if not the will blow out and destroy the head, i think the corecct torque is 112 inch pounds, or 11-13 foot lbs. thi sshould help your missfire.
