Well for the past two days i've been thinking that my driver door wasnt closing all the way because id get a funny smell and its sounded like the exhuast noise was comming through the door(I have side pipes). Now, my bro and I have concluded that my driver side exhuast is way louder than my passenger side. It almost sounds like it's catless. But the smell isnt the smell you get from a catless exhuast at all it's just a funky like cat piss smell lol. How can one pipe be louder when they cross after the cats at the "X"? is it the resonator?

I've been thinking the smell was due to the recent rain we started having

Also, sorry, I've had a squeaking sound comming from my engine bay for the past 4 months that for the life of me i cant figure out what it is. Sounds like a rotating mass squeak cuz it goes faster as i rev the engine, but i held a piece of wood from my ear to each pulley and it doesnt sound like its comming from any of the pulleys. Also the belt i have is only 5 months old so i think it's not that. Plus the squeak goes away once it warms up after 15 mins of driving. Any help is much appreciated.:SNSign:

Is the X pipe sealed tight? Possibly loosen up on you or anything?

As for isolating the squeek, to find out if its internal or just something on the accecory drive, take the serpentine belt off and fire up the car. Listen for the noise under the hood. If its there, its an engine issue, if not, accecory issue. Dont let it run for long at all though, no belt = no cooling, or charging.

that sounds crazy. I know its not an internal squeak at all, i can tell. I just wish my car was quieter so i could here where it's comming from:p
