a slight lean on the driver side

well ive had the car since march, and it has had it ever since i got it. its a real noticible lean, like a really really heavy person would be driving it or something and im just not that heavy. but what gets me is that the wheel doesent look like its any closer to the fender on the driverside then on the passengerside.

does it only lean when you are in it?
if the tire to fender height is the same on both sides and the car is uneven i would check for frame damage underneath.
any chassis guys out there for a second opinion?

if its the original coils and there was a heavy person drving for a long time it may be weak spring / shock. I would also lean towards getting the frame / unibody checked to see if it is running true.

measure the distance between the front coils on the left and right side and then compare, I'd bet that the side with the dip is just a bit weaker than the side that sits high. good excuse to do the shelby drop and get yourself a new set of coils! If the car has'nt been wrecked I would worry to much about the frame being out of whack.

my guess would be coil spring getting tired.

Throw a new set on - they are only about $55 and you can borrow a spring compressor at your local Autozone for free.

Might as well do the shocks too - they are even cheaper.

My left rear sits a little lower than the right rear, especially after I sit in it, so I think it's the rear springs. Does that mean that I need to lose weight in the rear!

I really doubt if shocks are the problem. Shocks are meant to control rebound, not ride height, unless maybe someone was talking about McPherson struts, or air shocks or coil over shocks. My son's shocks were dead, but ride height was still the same, just a real loud clunking sound when hitting a bump.
