Family Readiness Group
111th Fighter Wing Air National Guard
This is your last chance to register for The Pa. National Guard, 111th Fighter Wing Family Day and Car Display, on Sunday June 11th from 10am-2pm. This is a chance to show the troops we care and share our cars with them. Most of the 111th Fighter Wing including the Base Commander will be leaving for Iraq after this event. This is a very special event for this reason. The 111th is very excited about this event. It's not every day we get invited into a secure facility like this and I feel it's and honor for us to be able to show our rides to these people. This is a picnic, with tons of donated food from local companies. I've attended before but was never asked to bring my friends and their cars. The reserves will also bring their classic, antique and muscle cars. Cheif Gilespie told me they had 30 cars last year. If we bring 50, this would be a good sized display. You must be preregistered to gain entrance to the base. I must turn a list into the 111th by Wed. June 7th. If your not on the list, you will not be admitted. I will need your full name, city, state, and year, make and model of your vehicle. I must know if you are trailering your car for special entrance instructions. Please get back to me ASAP if you would like to attend. I have 33 race, show, and street cars so far.
