Well, i wreck my 94 cobra into a tree in the snow, and i was going to get the ABC Exclusive FT bumper (8011) cobra with the lip....

Now here is the problem. Everytime i call- this lady answers the phone, and will not give me the time of day. She has absolutly no product knowlege and swears that there produsts are the best in the market. The real truth is their "urathane" pruducts are not R.I.M. (reaction injection molded) like o.e.m. panels are (Ford). They are sprayed on with a gun, just like lineX des with a spray in bedliner. This is also how they seal roofs on buildings. Also, to top it off, half of their products are knock-offs of companies that have spent tens of thousnads of dollars designing and fitting. One other thing is i have also heard a lot of negitive feedback on the fitment, and how the urathane is so thin it warps and sinks.

Do you guys have any recomendations for me as for getting this type of bumper, or one simular that is not from them?
Any help would be great. :

I bought authentic saleen bumper and one of my friend thought he would save some money and bought ABC saleen bumper. We compared the two and they were exactly the same. "YES" the abc were little rough and took a little time to fit but so did saleen one. ABC one was just as thick and were in "need to prep for long time shape once arrived" but once nicely preped and painted and put on by professional you can't tell the difference betwen the two.

Save money and buy from ABC they are okay. buy prep guy some "BEER" so he will calm don when preping it. he is gonna need it.

You shouldn't be using Saleen as an example of quality lol..

They're expensive bumpers are warped and full of pinholes just like cheaper ones..

I thought either ABC or Mr. Body Kit had two Cobra covers available. One was more because they guarenteed it would be the best fitting of the two.

turbogt.....Thank you in more ways than one. I stole or copied your battery (ies) under the rear seat idea and used it on my car. So thank you for what you have done on your car because it paved the way from some of the mods on my car.
