I have a parts car i bought with what the guy say's was a 3.55 geared 8:8 t-bird rear end with disc brakes ? I question this because of fourth question below.

curious if they made an 8;8 without quad shock mount's?

and if there was any 7:5 rear ends with disc brakes?

I edited this because it is definately an 8:8 but not sure what it came out of now

Thank for any info you guy's can elaborate on

Turbo coupe and Mustang 8.8's have quad shock mounts. The TC requires the mounting holes be drilled 2" lower, but they are there.

Yes, 84-86 SVO Mustangs got disk brakes and 7.5" rear ends.

7.5" and 8.8's are virtually interchangable in terms of brake hardware. An 8.8 brake setup will fit a 7.5". The axle shafts are identical pretty much identical.

So you could take an 87-88 t-bird turbo-coupe disk setup, and
