Well peoples I've finally decided to lower my stang from its stock height. I've been putting it off for a while because I was concerned about cruising the crappy roads of Houston (if you've ever traveled 610 then you know what I'm talking about). I was thinking of getting Eibach springs from Stage3Motorsports (http://www.stage3motorsports.com/product/E3510140). Will the springs alone be enough? I don't want to make my car unbearable to ride in. What other concerns should I have? My car has 60,000 miles on it by the way (Its an 03 GT). Help is greatly appreciated.

some caster/camber plates to take it back to factory specs is arguably necessary. you don't need to replace the shocks immediately, but you most likely will pretty soon before the ride becomes unbearable.

replace the shocks/struts while you have the suspension apart.

with the pro kit you wont need cc plates... I didnt even need an alinment.
I only got a 1 inch drop. but with 60 k on your shocks and struts you should
change them out while your at it. If you dont want to spend a lot I had the
KYB's non adjustables on my former 99 gt and they are pretty impressive
for the cost.... they match up to the pro kit quite well. heres what my 04 looks like.

+1.

The stock struts/shocks are crap to begin with. While you changing the springs might as well do the struts/shocks also. Ride will be much better.
