Just wanna make sure I got this right.
I'm getting M/T ET Street Radials- 325/50-15's on the rear.
It is a 15x10 with 6.5" BS (quad shocks are off, fender lip is rolled)
On the front is 165R15 VW tires on a 15x3.5.

I've heard there is a brand for front skinnys that you don't have to use spacers. Anybody know?

That crap made me laugh :rlaugh: Now both of ya'll grow up and play nice :nice:

buncha idiots in this thread....BIG tires breaking rears :rlaugh:, 325/50/15's:rlaugh:

if anything that giant sidewall tire is going make you car feel like it has 2.73 gears and i doubt its going to break anything....

ok enough with the fighting and personal insults.. any moreand I will have to close the thread.

the guy already siad he is upgrading the axles and carrier. plus these are drag radials sure there is a chance you can break somthing anytime you launch hard but DR's are fairly safe even with the 28 spline stuff

There was no argument intended here, I was only asking the opinion of someone with knowledge or experience with this wheel/tire combo. Which you obviously don't so mabey you should keep your ignorant statements to yourself. This is why I try to avoid posting in these forums because you always get the one guy that thinks he knows all and has something to prove over the internet.

well youll get nobody with knowledge about the combo cause nobody runs it. its just to big and totally unneccasary. but then again i dont know *****

Who cares if it's necessary. It's functional and I like the look of giant rear tires. I'm sure you can appreciate having your own idea of how things should look since you're rockin those pimped-out altezza tail lights. Pro-street cars are totally overkill with tire size. Who cares. Obviously some people liked it seeing as how many musclecars got cut up in the 90's. It's all about what you like. You should try being a little more tactful in the future to avoid making yourself look more like an ass:nice:

Giant rear tires aren't always good... They will slow you down, you're just an N/A Bolt-on 2V GT. No need for that big of a tire.. and trust me, a 26" DR is plenty big
Here we go again:nonono: I just want to thank everyone on here for thier wealth of knowledge and I'm glad I have such a usefull resource at my disposal
