About to paint car and cant decide on color scheme....HELP

its a 66 coupe

Body mods are:
gt350 hood, Rstyle front apron, no bumper, shelby side scoops, fiberglass trunklid with spoiler and end caps, gt style rear valance, 17" chrome bullets

Interior is black. Engine bay is black and EVERY piece on the engine is either polished or Chrome.

I have narrowed it down to either:

WHITE with sonic blue pearl shelby stripes and cleared with some blue pearl (car will look white and on some contours if you look at it at a certain angle, you will see a blue tinge)

OR

Porsche Silver with a silver ghost flame

I think white with the blue strips would be nice and the blue pearl will give is a little extra kick. I have never been a big fan of flames on a classic mustang to me I have just never seen any that look right. What white are you thinking about?

Oh please, please do this combo and take lots of pics.

If mine wasn't already black, you can bet I'd go for something like this. And a huge red-orange-yellow flame job would probably be over the top, but a nice subtle ghost flame job on a silver car.

damn.....one and one.....I was originally looking at oxford white....however, my painter suggested Ultra White or PURE white....thats the white that they miz with paint. Its REALLY BRIGHT...like eye-hurting bright Im really leaning towards this combo...the stripes just scream classic muscle.

I think the silver with the flame would look really classy, but im not sure if I have enough chrome on the car to pull it off. The white would hide the body work too...hehe.

White with blue all the way. I will possibly doing the same combo but with the blue body and white lemans stripes. It is up to you though, please do post pics soon.

White with the blue stripes.....if you are using the GT350 hood it needs stripes.

Just to throw another variable into the mix, have you seen the Terlingua coupe in this month's Mustangs and Fords and Mustang Monthly? It's black with a yellow stripe and looks absolutley stunning. From the pics, I don't think the stripe goes over the trunk, and it really looks good, plus it's different...in a good way!

white with blue stripes it is....

we glassed the fender wells today...and we glassed in the fiberglass end caps for my trunk lid...so far, so good

I wouldn't want to hurt peoples eyes... with a white thats like a brand new golfball... Oxford white would be very cool, with the blue pearl stripes.
