Hi,just wondered if anyone had experienced this.
When i brake in my 96 GT,just before the car stops the ABS operates....with very light brake pressure. The ABS light is not on.
Any thoughts anyone...thanks in advance
Steve

Yeah thats false activation of the ABS..

first thing you need to do is look at all the tone rings front and rear and make sure there is no cracks or damage to any of the teeth.. also check between the teeth for cracks and check to see if the rings are loose..

the front rings are located on the front hubs and the rear ones can be seen with the rear rotors removed.
