Advance or Auto zone sells what you need, they have the cans of freon pre-mixed with the oil ready to use. You will need about 4 or 5 I think and the can shows what side to use Low or High, they should be marked with blue and red caps,(sorry I cant remember what is what and I can't get to my car now to look) This is very easy I did it two summers ago on my 91Gt it only takes about 5 or 10 minutes. Good luck, and stay cool!

If your system is completely empty, you'd need a vacuum pump and a set of manifold guages to do it. If you are just topping off the charge, you can the cans of freon with the guage built on. Follow the instrucitons closely, and don't overcharge it.

Here is a diagram of the system. The hose should only fit on the low side connector.
