There is no way to turn off the accessory delay feature.

If you have the key in the off position and try the "opening all windows"
feature (on page 65 of the owners manual), and it doesn't work,
then take the car to the dealer to have it looked at.

Previous posts were about this issue, and the dealer can fix it.

I'm having the same problem, anybody know a fix without taking it back to the dealer? Can a Diablo enable/disable it?

I had my car in for the global windows open/closing. Ford put out a bulletin in April stating that cars built after Jan 3 were not equipped with the feature.

As for the accessory delay on/off, there is a relay in the fuse panel, pulling the relay should disable the feature, although I have not tried as I like having the radio on until I get out of the car.

so if my car has the auto-window-down feature, it was built before 1/3? when did they start producing convertibles? cuz mine works.

global open/close

Yeah, I just got my GT on 5-12 and found out that the global open/close feature was disabled after Jan 3rd production (ssm from Ford). I think the smart junction box is the same unit (this is where the windows are controlled). If the modules are the same, the feature may be able to be reactivated using "as Built" data from an older car "flash programmed" into a newer car using Ford's WDS scan tool. I am going to research this and see if it can be done. I was pretty disappointed as this was the only reason I ordered the active anti-theft system.

Just a question...

Although it's sad that Ford decided the disable the keyfob window up/down function (I really thought this was cool), it was probably done for a reason...

Didn't I read from a previous post (before the big crash) that a few of the owners ended up finding their cars with the windows down in the morning, and one of the guys actually had his car full of snow?

Reactivating a feature that was "cancelled" due to some issue might not be a wise move...

Yeah there might be a reason for the function to have been cancelled. Will call Ford's tech hotline and see if they can give me some insight why this was done. It may be due to a RF interference problem rolling the windows up/down by accident. If this is the case, might be better to leave it alone.
