Accorn question grrr

What do you guys think, can an accorn ding my car. I just waxed my new daily driver, it a hyundai elantra. I had to by foregn, it has the best warranty arround. Anyways theres a ding in the roof. I park it under this oak tree, do you thing it could have caused this. Any others have the same problem, if so I got to move the mustang its under the same tree except under the cover all the time.

I wouldn’t think it is heavy enough. But depending on how high it was in the tree I guess it could.

Maybe a branch fell on it. I'm sure an Acorn reaches terminal velocity long before it hits the ground, so even if it was really high up it probably wouldn't be traveling fast enough to ding your car, unless it was some kind of giant super Acorn, or maybe a squirrel threw a rock at your car.

i am in queens, 2 years ago i was washing the car in the driveway under a tree, as i finished going over the hood an accorn fell and i saw it, it clunked and hit the floor, i ran over and it left a dent on the stock hood, and that is a big heavy metal hood.

I went inside to get my paintball gun to find the squirrel that was in the branches but it was gone by the time I got back outside.

Maybe some squirrels were having sex and fell out of the tree onto your car. I don't think an acorn would cause a ding.

Yeh i was thinking the same thing that they couldnt but you have to hear these things hit the cars. maybe Ill do a ding test on my brothers car lol. Its still mine hes paying me off.

blackthorn car looks good, how much did the paint job cost you. Mabe in the spring we can meet up, ever go out to DPA? havent been there this summer but its usually pretty cool out there.
