Accuracy of Auometer dash cluster

Just wondering if the Autometer dash gauges are as accurate as their other gauges. Not too long ago, i put my battery into the car, thinking it was charged up. Well, the car didnt start at all, and the stupid Ford gauge just said "normal". So now im looking to upgrade the dash cluster... accurate?

it's no different than the factory cluster as far as accuracy. both get their information the same way.
