Hey,
I was told that by adding a 150 shot to my combo it would slow me down.
Personally I think its bull****, But I will let you decide. Also, Keep in mind this guy actually drives a 5.0, So I do feel there is some logic behind his comment, But I still disagree completely.
He was saying that If I ran nos I would run a 14 flat at 130 mph.

My combo is in the link below

hes full of poop. unless you had a seriously bad tune and blew up the motor it will run faster if you can get traction. how would throwing 150 hp into the motor slow you down. hes probably right abuot the trap speed, but i dont think it will be a 14 second pass

Question is does your car hook up now, what kind of tire do you/will you run, and what kind of suspension mods. If you dont hook up now, adding power is just gonna spin the tires harder. If you ease out of the hole and apply the power after youre hooked and rolling, you should run quicker, just not as quick as possible

Stupid is as stupid does. That kind of stupidity derserves a smack. Maby you should kick him in the rear as hard as you can in hopes of knocking his brains back in his head.

I'm sorry but that guy is plain out weird, you should have done what 90MustangGT said, Why even get on here and ask that sort of question?

Sorry but that was funny.

14 flat at 130? Thats not physically possible. The MPH is 30-35 mph too high.

Unless your blowing the tires off through the 1/8th you will run a lot better with nitrous, kick his brains back to his head. My buddy built a 327 for his 69 Camaro, ran 16.2 at 121 mph. I could have walked and whooped him off the line.

He'd be crossing at around 117mph, I'd say.

This guy just doesn't want to get his butt kicked in a race by your newly juiced stang.

A top fuel car could run 13's at 180....if it breaks mid track. Although its not impossible, 14.0 @ 130 is ridiculous. Whoever said that is knob...a moron....idiot....ass clown.....

This was kind of a stupid thread. Somebody might as well start a thread- "When I was at band camp...."
