I've had a run of bad fortune with shops, even ones with world class reputations. Not so with this shop, and I cannot more highly recommend them to anyone in the San Jose/ SF Bay area!

I was referred to Daniel and Dan because of their interest in custom work and in Mustangs in particular. After Team-Z and HPP Racing both FUBARed my McLeod original street twin disk clutch installation, the latter to the point that a complete rebuild from McLeod was required, Advanced Auto got it right. McLeod was very problematic, and the clutch had to be sent to them 3 times for them to get the rebuild right, but after all was said and done, the clutch is back in Project Sloth, and it's driving/shifting better than it ever has..... ever.

This is the first performance shop I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing (in the customer sense of the word) that managed three amazing hard things to find: 1) perfect communication -- always knew exactly what was going on with my car and no clueless "front office", 2) timeliness of work -- complete within a day or two each time the parts arrived from McLeod, 3) followed through on everything they said. Finding those three things in a performance shop is either a rarity or I've had the worst luck ever.

They also took care of my electric cutout wiring and fabbed and installed a bracket and magnetic pickup for my speed sensor.

So, if you're looking for a Mustang shop on the West Coast, give these guys a try.

Chris

About time you caught a break Chris. I'm glad you've found a trust worthy shop.
